Privacy Policy

FrameMock ("the App") is an Android application that helps users create smartphone mockups using 2D device frames. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Under the configuration described here, FrameMock does not require account registration and does not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, or other personal profile details.

Images and screenshots you select are used to generate mockups on your device. They are not transmitted to our servers.

2. Photos, Screenshots, and Media Access

The App may request access to images through Android's photo picker or applicable media permissions so you can select screenshots or pictures for your mockups. Access is used only for the features you initiate.

Your original images remain under your control. Generated mockups are saved to your device only when you choose to export or save them.

3. How Information Is Used

Selected images and locally stored settings are used to display device frames, position screenshots inside mockups, remember editing preferences where supported, and export completed designs.

4. Device Frames and Assets

FrameMock includes 2D smartphone frame assets, including frames created using Blender. These assets are used to display and generate device mockups. Device frame assets themselves do not require access to your personal information.

5. Data Sharing

Under the local-only configuration described in this policy, we do not sell or share your selected screenshots, images, or exported mockups with advertisers or data brokers. If you choose to share an exported mockup using another app, that sharing is initiated by you and is subject to the receiving service's privacy practices.

6. Third-Party Services

FrameMock is distributed through Google Play. Google may process information associated with downloading, installing, or using apps through its own services, in accordance with Google's privacy practices. You can read the Google Privacy Policy.

This policy assumes FrameMock does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, authentication, cloud storage, or payment SDKs that independently collect user information. If any such services are used, this section must be updated to identify them and describe their data practices.

7. Data Storage and Retention

Selected images and generated mockups are handled locally as described above. Exported files remain on your device until you delete them. App settings and temporary files may remain in the App's local storage or cache until removed by the App, by clearing app data, or by uninstalling the App, subject to Android's storage behavior.

8. Data Security

We aim to minimize access to personal information and use Android's available storage and permission controls. However, no device or software environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your Choices and Rights

• You can choose which screenshots or images to import.
• You can manage applicable app permissions in Android Settings.
• You can delete exported mockups using your device's file manager or gallery.
• You can clear app data or uninstall FrameMock to remove locally stored app information, subject to files saved outside the App.

10. Children's Privacy

FrameMock is not specifically directed to children under 13. Under the configuration described here, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe information has been collected inappropriately, please contact us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, its services, or applicable requirements. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when the policy changes.
